Morgan Muchnick founded The M2 Group in 2012 after more than 15 years of experience in Congress and the private sector. He previously served as Senior Professional Staff to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, where he played a pivotal role in the creation of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

As an advocate and strategist, Morgan has guided technology innovators and disruptors in expanding their presence inside the Washington Beltway. His passion is helping emerging technologists gain visibility in policy circles traditionally dominated by industry giants. Over his career, he has managed aerospace, defense, and homeland security portfolios for the American Institute of Aeronautics & Astronautics (AIAA), led communications strategy for Unisys Corporation on DHS and TSA priorities, and directed legislative affairs for Turner Government and Public Affairs. He also co-founded Fantasy Politics, LLC, a civics-minded educational platform modeled on fantasy football.

Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree in history with honors from UCLA and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. He is also a senior advisor to ReachThePeople.ai, where he combines his policy expertise with a passion for innovation, advancing the use of AI tools for smarter, data-driven advocacy and political engagement.
